These Seychelles Gala II flats have been floating on Gilt for a while. My wallet was feeling generous last week, so I dropped $59 on the nude/black color. They look(ed) gorgeous online and similar to a pair of Jil Sander flats I have. There was only one review on the Internet, so I took a gamble. In person, they looked… unexciting. I have fairly wide feet and these were even wider, so the width was highly unflattering. In addition, the ball area did not have enough cushioning and the quality of the leather was lacking. I put a shoe on one foot, hated the fit, promptly put it back in the shoe box, printed out the return label, and sealed the box back up.
Life is too short for uncomfortable shoes.
